Scouts
Winterport and Frankfort hosts two Boy Scouts of American (BSA) Scout Troops – Troop 34 for Boys and Troop 234 for Girls. Both are seeking new youth and adults to join their units. The Boy Troop 34 meets on Sundays from 4:00 pm to 5:30 pm at the Victoria Grant Civic Center at Abbott Park in Winterport. The Girl Troop 234 meets from 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm at 35 Rabbit Hill Road in Winterport. Girls and Boys age 11 to 17 years old are eligible to join. Winterport and Frankfort also host a BSA Cub Scout Pack, Pack 234, that meets on Mondays from 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm at the Leroy H. Smith Elementary School. Both girls and boys between the ages of 5 and 10 are eligible to join. You can contact Megan Christensen at mmwchristensen@gmail.com .
