** Summer Reading Program
Starts June 16th.
“Get a Clue” designed to get children to explore the library and find their way around. There will be several challenges throughout the summery that the children will get prizes for. Registration is limited to 25. Register early and anytime.
“You Never Know” is designed for teens. There will be several challenges throughout the summer and a mystery to solve with a prize for the person who solves it first. Registration is limited to 25. Register early and anytime.
**Special Events
June 14th: We will be here to help celebrate Flag Day with the American Legion. Several students will be playing instruments during the service. Thank you American Legion for providing us with a new flag for the library.
June 19th: Story hour begins. It will be held every Tuesday and Wednesday from 12-1. Space is limited. Registration is important. If there is a large enough interest this program may expand into Thursday. We will be having several speakers coming in during story hour, a police officer and a sign language teacher to name a few.
**The Winterport Free Library Board of Trustees would like to say thank you to Senator Susan Collins who generously donated a large box of books from her personal collection. Also thank you to the Winterport Women’s Club who will be donating and planting day lilies soon and helping to make the library beautiful.
